Charles M. Billow, President - An Akron native, Chip graduated from Firestone High School, the University of Akron and Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary science. He is President of Billow Funeral Homes and Crematory, a fifth generation family owned business serving greater Akron since 1875. Current activities include serving as a Member of Akron General Health System’s Finance Committee and Board Member of Visiting Nurse Service & Affiliates, Inc., Hospice Care Ohio, Better Business Bureau of Akron, Summit County Historical Society and the St. Paul’s Endowment Foundation. He is a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Diocesan Council- Episcopal Diocese of Ohio, Commerce Club of Akron, Leadership Akron Alumni Association, Tallmadge Rotary, WKSU Community Advisory Council and Bluecoats, Inc. Chip and his wife Patty reside in Tallmadge. They have three children, Christopher, 26, Nathanael, 20, and Anastasia, 18.

Charles W. Billow - Chuck joined Billow’s in 1944 while still in high school and became the fourth generation of Billows to serve Summit County. He served in the United States Navy from 1945 to 1947 and was a graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1950. Chuck is a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, the Rotary Club of Akron, the Bluecoats Incorporated, and is a 32nd Degree Mason.

Brian P. Eger - Graduated from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1981 where he served as Class President and obtained the degree of Bachelor of Science in Mortuary Science from Edgecliff College of Xavier University in 1983. An active member of Northwest Ave. Church of Christ in Tallmadge, Past President and currently on the Board of Trustees of the Ohio Embalmers Association, member of National Funeral Directors Association and Adoniram- Joppa Lodge # 517 F. & A. M. He has been licensed as an Ohio funeral director and embalmer since 1982 and joined the staff of Billow Funeral Homes and Crematory in 2007.

 
Ann Billow Grebelsky, Secretary-Treasurer - The manager of the Fairlawn Chapel, Ann grew up at the funeral home and has worked for the company since 1982. She attended Ashland College and the University of Akron, and is a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. She is past president of Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumnae Association, and past president of the Junior Board of Akron City Hospital, where she is currently a member of the Women’s Board of Summa Health System.

Don Taylor, Vice President - In addition to his duties as a funeral director, Don has served the company as the Personnel Director and as the manager of the Falls Chapel. An employee of the Billow Co. since 1985, he graduated from the University of Akron, and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.

P. Thomas (Tom) Varley - Since 1969, Tom has served the Billow Co. A 1958 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, Tom is a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, the National Funeral Directors Association, and past president of the Portage Lakes Kiwanis. Each year, Tom plays an integral role in the Kiwanis Rose Day.

Melissa A. Wilcox - Graduated from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1998 where she received the Dr. A.J. Nunnamaker Award for Highest Scholastic Standing and Exemplary Citizenship, and the Ohio Embalmers Association Lester W. Wakeham Award for Excellence in the Combined Theory and Practice of Embalming. A member of New Testament Baptist Church, Ellet Women's Club and Summit Kiwanis. Licensed since 2000 and employed at the Billow Funeral Homes and Crematory since 2005.
